I intend to follow Citizen Kurchatov:  Stalin’s Bomb Maker on PBS when it is released.  One of the areas that I have a hard time criticizing PBS for is their historical documentaries.  Ken Burns’ Civil War was another great PBS production.

World War I Color Photos.  While World War I is outside of my area of expertise, I do appreciate this site.  The photographs are truly amazing, and there are lots of them.

Speaking of photography, the New York Public Library has a digital gallery featuring more than half a million photos.  I was especially interested in the 1880-1910 apartment building collection.

Again outside of my area of expertise, The English Civil War nevertheless caught my interest.  I especially enjoy the timeline section, though the biographies are worth more than just a passing glance, as well.

The Workhouse - This is an excellent resource of information on the workhouses in England.  This site was especially interesting to me, because I’d never really given the workhouses much thought outside of reading Oliver Twist
